By accessing and using The Island Rust Community services, including but not limited to our game servers, website, Discord server, and account linking system, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Our account linking system connects your Discord account and Steam account to enable server features and support functionality. By linking your accounts you consent to us storing your Discord ID and Steam ID in our database. We do not store passwords, messages, profile content, or any personal information beyond these identifiers. This data is used exclusively for server administration and support purposes.

Players on The Island servers must adhere to our community rules at all times. These include but are not limited to: no cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics; no harassment, racism, or discriminatory behaviour; no impersonation of staff; no advertising other servers. Full server rules are available in our Discord server. Violations may result in temporary or permanent bans without refund of any purchases.

All purchases made through our store (VIP packages, in-game items, and similar) are subject to our refund policy. Digital goods delivered to your account are non-refundable once applied unless required by applicable law. EU consumers retain their statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days for purchases of digital content not yet accessed, as per Directive 2011/83/EU. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in a permanent account ban.

We reserve the right to ban any player from our servers at our sole discretion. Ban appeals may be submitted through our Discord server. We are not obligated to provide detailed reasons for bans in cases involving cheating, as disclosing detection methods would undermine server integrity. Bans applied by third-party anti-cheat services are outside our jurisdiction.

Our servers undergo regular wipes (map and/or blueprint resets) on a schedule communicated in our Discord. We reserve the right to wipe, modify, or shut down servers at any time without notice or compensation. In-game progress and items are not guaranteed to persist across wipes.

The Island Community is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, data preservation, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes via our Discord server.
